Hi there! We’re Hannah and Henry, the husband-and-wife team behind The Handy Duo. If tools, sawdust, and creative brainstorming sessions sound like a good time, you’re in the right place. We’ve built our brand around a shared love for rolling up our sleeves, fixing what’s broken, and crafting beautiful, functional pieces for our home (and maybe yours too!).

It all started when we realized our weekend “fixer-upper” projects weren’t just chores, but something we truly enjoyed doing together. Henry’s hands-on know-how and Hannah’s knack for design turned out to be the perfect combination. What started as a few DIY projects here and there quickly turned into a full-fledged passion for creating and building things from scratch.

Whether we’re restoring a wobbly table, building a custom bookshelf, or transforming a blank wall into a statement piece, we strive to pour heart and precision into everything we do. We believe every project tells a story, and we love sharing ours with you, whether it’s the wins, the hiccups, or the lessons learned along the way.

We created The Handy Duo to inspire others to tackle DIY moments in their own lives—with a little grit, a little creativity, and the confidence to give it a go. There’s nothing better than looking at something you’ve made with your own hands and thinking, “We did that.” Our hope is that through this labor of love, we can show how rewarding it is to create something uniquely yours.
